The site was built to order as a replacement for an older, 90s-style page that had been made in a clumsy content management system.

The focus was:

• to create a graphically minimalist, clear site in the so-called "flat design" style, while still following on from the original website and from the overall graphic presentation and image of the company
• to get all the necessary information about the company and its portfolio of services across to a prospective customer as efficiently and concisely as possible
• to build a site that answers the trend towards mobile devices - responsive design adapted for browsing on mobiles and for touch control - plus the basics of SEO and integration with social networks
• to comply with W3 norms and standards
• to keep compatibility even with browsers that do not follow the agreed web standards and implement new features incorrectly or only partly (Microsoft Internet Explorer, going back as far as version 6.0) - customers looking for customs declaration services often use outdated software and hardware, and in 2016 Windows XP is still the norm despite support having ended in 2014.

The site was built using HTML, version 4 at that, and on the server it runs a simple MVC template in PHP, without a framework.
